Arbor Schools Junior High Program
In the Junior High Program, educational goals include the use of interdisciplinary units to integrate all subject areas as well as provide life experience through service. The Junior High Program supports young adolescent students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. The program promotes academic excellence, expands critical thinking skills, and supports the development of each student's unique potential. Junior High students are expected to assume leadership positions at school. The goal of the student/parent/guide team is to work in concert
with one another to meet academic, social, and
psychological needs of the adolescent in an
integrated, process-oriented curriculum. This holistic
approach is aimed at helping students to become
independent thinkers and life-long learners.
